Take a look at this amazing collection of Peter Piloto Resort, the colors and all the small details are just simply stunning. It's a lot, but enough. Especially the color combinations is beautiful. It's inspiring from head to toe. I wish I could create something like this one day. 

BEACH-WALK IN BLACK&GOLD

Today I finally got home from my holiday, I left the island of Lanzarote this morning (very early), and when I landed on Schiphol I was happy I'm connected to the world of internet again! So I can update my blog, and share my outfit-of-the-day pictures with you.

This is the dress I got from TopShop while I was visiting my Swedish friends Josefin and Åsa in London, November last year. And when you're living in the Netherlands, there's not so much opportunity to wear this kind of dress, because of the shitty summer weather. So during my holiday in Lanzarote (Spain) I had to wear this beauty, and had a little beach-walk in it. Because of the wind the back of the dress was blowing in the air and had such a charming look, don't you think? I combined it with my new shoes I bought at a Spanish clothing store called Blanco, these are black leather sandals with high heels and when I saw them I had to buy them (of course). You likey?

SHOPPING IN SPAIN, LAZAROTE

Sorry I hadn't updated by blog so much during my holiday, the wireless internet sucks big time here. Today I had a little off-day, so I decided I didn't go to the beach and watch some Sex & the City episodes in bed instead. After a while I was so inspired by Carrie's style and wardrobe, I needed to go shopping. So I grabbed a cap and took my lazy butt to the city. There was a major sale going on, that's perfect because I was in that kind of mood to shop a lot, if you know what I mean. First stop was Zara, I got an amazing cute salmon pink dress for only 12 euro's! After a while my feet were killing me, now I finally understand why they call high heels 'killer-heels', so I had to buy flats or slippers. Then I walked in a sort of hipster store called 'Blanco' and saw these cute slippers, with a touch of hippie ;-) matched perfectly by my bag I bought earlier at Zara for 9 euro, but you're gonna see those items later on my blog, because it takes ages to upload a picture here.
 After I had a iced latte, I decided to walk back to the apartment just to clear my head and think about all the things I want to do with my life.

FLYING FRIENDLY TO LANZAROTE

From sunny Lanzarote, a brand new blogpost! This was the outfit I was wearing during the flight from Amsterdam to Lanzarote; a vintage hat from Episode (a vintage store in Amsterdam) with a dress I ordered a couple years ago at Asos.com with a gilet from the New Yorker. Completed by a pair of trousers from the Zara and shoes from the Primark. I fell in love with Lanzarote, the weather is perfect. It's sunny with a lot of wind, so it's not too warm. But I get a tan anyway! The only thing I don't like it's that there too many tourists, who are just the wrong clotting, as usual ;-) well, while I'm enjoying my holiday, I wish you the same: sunny weather! ON THE EDGE OF GLORY

This is one of the last 'outfit of the day' pictures I had made in Tilburg. This dress is so difficult to wear, because of the 'open' mesh parts on the stomach. It can look slutty very easy, if you know what I mean. I bought this one because it was an challenge for me to combine it with something else so it's more wearable. This dress reminded me also of the collection of designer Alexander Wang. I combined this dress with one of my favorite items at the moment, the oversized blazer with printed sleeves from Forever21, as you can see on the pictures below it's more classy now. I got the dress at a store in Singapore called Depression, which only sold black and white clothing - for me as a Cruella De Vil maniac it was heaven! The blazer was also bought in Singapore, one big shopping paradise! I really want to go back, o boy I wish I had all the money on the world so I could spend it there ;-) What do you think of my 'Edge of Glory' look? xoxo

BLAZER FOREVER21 | DRESS DEPRESSION | SHOES RIVER ISLAND

G R A D U A T I O N - O U T F I T

On the 6th of July I finally got my diploma at the Dance academy, from now on I'm a "professional" dancer. For this occasion I really wanted to dress up, because it a special moment in your life. I went shopping with my Mom in Amsterdam, but couldn't find any dress. Searched over the internet, but I wasn't very satisfied. So a week before the graduation ceremony I ordered this dress at Asos.com. First I wasn't that happy with it, but it's something. But when I wore it, I fell in love with this dress. I mean red is a dangerous color, but it makes your look sexy in a way. I combined it with my leopard print shoes, which I bought in Singapore with a little had to finish my outfit. That day felt a bit like a red carpet event, most of the girls looked so pretty with their hair done, some make-up and of course killer heels! I brought my Anna Dello Russo crocodile glasses as well, which my friend Carlijn is wearing on the picture below! I really enjoyed this day, with a lot of booze :) hihi take a look at some pictures!

B ACADEMY HAIR-SHOW BY ALISA VAN VAALEN

Last Thursday I was a model for my best friend Alisa hair-show of the B-academy in Amsterdam. As you might know because I've told you this a couple times, Alisa is an amazing hair-stylist and I'm so proud of her!! Wednesday there was a make-over day, she dyed my (ombre)hair pinky-peach and cut it - you can see the before and after on the 2nd picture below. Thursday was the real deal, the one and only fashion show! The theme was NEON and she made this amazing hairdo, with GOLD(!!!) and a lot of pink and purple, me likey! It hurt like hell, but.. you know: it's not easy being pretty ;-) hihi. 

There was also a classmate of Alisa, Dennis von Mauw who made also an fabulous hairdo, but I'm going to blog about that another time! I'll keep you posted, but for now: enjoy the FASHIONABLE hair xoxo

SINGAPORE NIGHTLIFE LOOK

I fell in love with Singapore, it's always summer! You can wear your summer-outfit every day of the year, what do you need more? The sun is always shining, and that's making me happy as a kid in a candyshop. Even at night the temperature is perfect, that's why I'm wearing this très chique dress, which I bought about 6 or 7 years ago at Zara. One of my first items I bought at Zara, and since then I'm addicted to this store! Love their vision and designs of the clothing they sell, absolutly fashionable and affordable. I combined it with my nude high heels with black accent at the toes from Steve Madden. What do uou think of this 'vintage' Zara dress? xoxo Alyssa

QUOTE OF THE DAY

A couple days ago I passed by this shoe-shop in Singapore and I saw this quote on the wall, I think it's made for me. Funny cause it's true! I love shoes, and yes they make me happy. I don't care what other people think about it.
I'm here in Singapore for a week now, and I fell in love with this country. So much energy, and still a nice atmosphere. The people here have a good taste in fashion, and my gosh the shopping area is AMAZING!! I really wish sometimes I had all the money in the world, so I could spend it here!. I'm staying here only until Thursday, so I will enjoy it the fullest. One thing for sure, the sun is the only thing that keeps me happy! Hope you have a nice holiday as well xoxo Alyssa

SAY HELLO TO MY CRUELLA DE VIL PROJECT

I adore Cruella De Vil, she's just so stylish and evil. And I totally dig the whole Black&White theme, she has going on. I'm trying to make a black and white trousers, and I'll call it my "Cruella De Vil' Project. Just to keep me busy these day. And on top of that, I have to draw a shitload for my portfolio. Luckily I have inspiration enough to make this work. So... keep up checking my blog for updates. For now, so long! I have to draw ;-) xoxo Alyssa

INSPIRATIONAL SATURDAY

Sometimes you just get inspired to make something nice. Just like today, I decided to just draw some things I like. It took me forever to draw it, but it was so much fun. Now, I have to learn how to make this design into clothing. But for now, I need to draw more and make a little fashion-portfolio for myself. With themes, designs and pictures of Outfit-of-the-Day'looks and articles from magazines that inspire me. Can't wait to start!

After my creative morning, I went to the gym for a run. I set my new record: 17,26 kilometers. I'm proud, I've made it so far. What's next?
