Leopard print, you rather love it or hate it. I adore this print! For such a long time I was looking for the perfect Leopard coat, but couldn't find it anywhere - not online, not in vintage stores; like it wasn't meant for me. Until the day someone told me you could but it at the Zara. So I immediately grabbed my  creditcard and ordered this baby! So happy when it arrived a couple days later, couldn't wait to wear it. I mean, it does look chique right? With some killerheels, like these ones from River Island (which I got in the Solden in Antwerp). O - MY - GOD! The Solden in Antwerp was crazy, every fashionista dragged their ass to the city to score some nice items for a amazing price! After a couple hours I needed a break, I mean… sometimes the life of a little fashion victim is hard. But after the break, I got my act together again, and I made it to the finish (of my bank account). But, my closet is up-to-date now. SHE WOLF

Sometimes I like to toughen up my outfit of the day. Everybody thinks I'm such a 'lady' because I wear dresses and heels most of the time, well then they don't now me. Sometimes I'm doubting myself if I'm a lady, haha I don't like chocolate and I can read maps very well. Yup, I know I'm strange! So today I wanted to be a tough chick, and why not wear this amazing leather gilet with a wolf shirt (both from the New Yorker). I forgot I had this shirt, it was between my dancing clothes. I don't know why I wore it in my ballet class, but it's nice to finally create an outfit with it. Normally when I'm shopping I always skip the New Yorker. Why? I don't know, it just happen. But my friend Nuance told my I had to go there and just take a look, and boy... she was right! Bye bye money, hello new clothing! I combined this with a small striped black and white trousers from the children department at H&M. Yes, I'm a tiny lady of 1.58m so I fit children's clothing. Well it's quite handy, because nowadays they have sort of the same clothing but much cheaper! And to complete this "She-Wolf" look I'm wearing my dear Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. THE ALYSSA-ISSUE

It's the first of September, and as you Fashionista's may know; it's September-Issue time. Very important. This month is special for me, so I call it the Alyssa-Issue. This month is a sort of new beginning or something. In a way I feel like a new person. Tuesday I'm going to start an internship at the Darling in the Nine Streets in Amsterdam. It's feels a bit like I'm starting a whole new life, with all new special things... and: I'm so excited to begin this 'new life'. Can't wait to create new things and learn the ins and outs about designing clothing and fashion. Next week is my first day at the Vogue Academy, so it gets better and better! It feels like my life is beginning to turn upside down, but in a good way. And, don't you agree, with a new beginning; there must be a new look. So this is my outfit-of-the-day, Alyssa 2.2 (also known as: the Alyssa-Issue). On top of that, I made an appointment to change my hair as well. So I can start fresh, all bright and shiny! FLYING FRIENDLY TO LANZAROTE

From sunny Lanzarote, a brand new blogpost! This was the outfit I was wearing during the flight from Amsterdam to Lanzarote; a vintage hat from Episode (a vintage store in Amsterdam) with a dress I ordered a couple years ago at Asos.com with a gilet from the New Yorker. Completed by a pair of trousers from the Zara and shoes from the Primark. I fell in love with Lanzarote, the weather is perfect. It's sunny with a lot of wind, so it's not too warm. But I get a tan anyway! The only thing I don't like it's that there too many tourists, who are just the wrong clotting, as usual ;-) well, while I'm enjoying my holiday, I wish you the same: sunny weather! WINING AND DINING IN ROTTERDAM

Yesterday I had a wine-date with my friend Maaike from the dance academy. It was a nice summer day, perfect for a little shopping-trip, terrace-time with a lot of talking and of course having some wine. What a lovely day, for a moment it felt like we were in school again; bringing up memories and gossip. The only thing we were missing were the delicious tosti's from Anvers, but all by all it was such a nice day. Check out my vacation-look: I'm wearing a white/green ombre-blazer, with a basic top from H&M combined with one of my favorite items at the moment the short/skirt from Zara. To complete my outfit I choose to wear these colorful shoes which I got years ago at the New Look, and a classy clutch. What do you think about this look?

ON THE EDGE OF GLORY

This is one of the last 'outfit of the day' pictures I had made in Tilburg. This dress is so difficult to wear, because of the 'open' mesh parts on the stomach. It can look slutty very easy, if you know what I mean. I bought this one because it was an challenge for me to combine it with something else so it's more wearable. This dress reminded me also of the collection of designer Alexander Wang. I combined this dress with one of my favorite items at the moment, the oversized blazer with printed sleeves from Forever21, as you can see on the pictures below it's more classy now. I got the dress at a store in Singapore called Depression, which only sold black and white clothing - for me as a Cruella De Vil maniac it was heaven! The blazer was also bought in Singapore, one big shopping paradise! I really want to go back, o boy I wish I had all the money on the world so I could spend it there ;-) What do you think of my 'Edge of Glory' look? xoxo

CRUELLA DE VILL TROUSERS

As you may know, I love Cruealla de Vill. Black and white is one of the best color combinations if you ask me, it's so chique and it gives you a whole other attitude. I thought it would be nice to make some black and white trousers. But there was one problem, I didn't know how to make because I never used a sewing machine. So, this little miss smartypants bought two pairs of pants (black and white) at the H&M, and took them in pieces. With some help from my mom I made my own black and white trousers. I'm so happy with the result!
I combined my new pants with some happy colors, like yellow and red. Let the sunshine come, becaue I'm ready for the summer!! What do you think? Let me know xoxo

DIRTY HEELS

If you ask me, the colors black and white combined with red are just magical. It looks amazing on each other,  don't you think? So simple, but it works in a way. The red trousers gives this whole look an edge. I'm wearing my favorite Steve Madden nude heels, with a black accent. These shoes walk like heaven, I mean seriously: HEAVEN. Nobody believes me, but it's true and that's why I love them. I can walk miles in them without having pain in my feet. Just as what I did today, I walked across Amsterdam, just doing my thing and enjoying the weather. As you can see, this is a real casual look for me. Normally I'm wearing more extravagant outfits, but sometimes it's good to go basic, don't you think?

HAPPY LEOPARD LOOK IN AMSTERDAM

One day I woke up and in my head I made this outfit, and guess what? It's a cool look, don't you think? I love these leopard printed trousers, it's nice they're in black and white like a snow leopard. I combined it with a top from New Look and my favorite blazer from the Miranda Kerr campaign for Mango. This is such a classy blazer, tres chique!

This picture is made in Amsterdam, as you can see this city makes me happy! I totally dig this atmosphere here, I'm addicted. I love the people, they're so much more fashionable than in Tilburg where I've lived when I was a student. It makes me feel free when I walk around the city, anything can happen and I feel I really live in the moment then.

B ACADEMY HAIR-SHOW BY ALISA VAN VAALEN

Last Thursday I was a model for my best friend Alisa hair-show of the B-academy in Amsterdam. As you might know because I've told you this a couple times, Alisa is an amazing hair-stylist and I'm so proud of her!! Wednesday there was a make-over day, she dyed my (ombre)hair pinky-peach and cut it - you can see the before and after on the 2nd picture below. Thursday was the real deal, the one and only fashion show! The theme was NEON and she made this amazing hairdo, with GOLD(!!!) and a lot of pink and purple, me likey! It hurt like hell, but.. you know: it's not easy being pretty ;-) hihi. 

There was also a classmate of Alisa, Dennis von Mauw who made also an fabulous hairdo, but I'm going to blog about that another time! I'll keep you posted, but for now: enjoy the FASHIONABLE hair xoxo

ROSES ARE RED, SO IS MY OUTFIT OF THE DAY!

Today I was experimenting with my new look, I thought it would be fun to combine my red blazer with my red pants. And guess what: it works! Don't you think it looks classy, like I was going to a meeting at the office or something. But it's not a boring look, not at all if you ask me. I think it's edgy and also a bit sexy because if the color red. On the picture it looks like I've cut my hair, my friend Alisa (the Hair-Stylist) told me it looks so nice on me, maybe we have to try it. Well, maybe not! Haha on wednesday, I'm a model for the end performance for the graduation. I'm excited! Can't wait to see what she's gonna do to my hair! For now, enjoy the summer! xoxo Alyssa

Normally I'm the skinny-jeans kinda girl, but one day I just bought these boyfriend jeans at the H&M and I'm hooked. The looks you can create with it is endless. You can go for sporty look, or casual, comfy or wear it with heels like I did. To make it a bit more feminine, but not too girly girly. It's sort of edgy and sexy but also classy because of the blazer. I got this one at the Forever 21 in Singapore, and I wear it all the time, in a way it fits almost every look.

I combined this look with my new bag (also from Singapore) which I got at Charles & Keith, it's a simple bag but with nice summer colors. The shoes are also from Charles and Keith, and they match perfectly with the blazer, don't you think. I made this pictures a while ago as you can see, when the sun was shining. Yesterday was a perfect summer day, the perfect opportunity to wear my red hat. I really I felt like a celebrity when I was walking around Tilburg. When I was re-organizing my wardrobe, I found this jumpsuit from Asos.com which I bought 4 years ago, it's so nice when you re-invent old clothing. It's a easy going look, but with the hat and the fierce red heels, it more edgy like something Carrie Bradshaw would wear in Sex and the City when she's out for a cosmopolitan. My friend Alisa dyed my hair last week, and I'm so happy with it! More blond at the ends, perfect for the summer! So... let the holiday begin! FASHION NO FASHION @ DANSNACHT, TILBURG

After graduating, I had one more project at school for Dansnacht in Tilburg: called FASHION, NO FASHION. A piece made by Marc van Loon and hair+styling by Jeroen Zellenrath, where dance meets fashion. I love the fact they combined my two big passions, dance and fashion. We all felt like supermodels with our amazing wigs, make-up and wearing high heels on the runway. Here are some pictures of this fabulous performance. THROWBACK THURSDAY: CHINA TOWN

Hello my followers all over the world,
Today I'm writing my blog on Changi Airport, this was my last day here in Singapore for now. I really enjoyed being in the big city with fashionable people, delicious food, a lot of Asian people and the many good clothing stores. Now all my money is gone, I have to go back to my normal life again. It's time for graduating, so it will be a very stressfull time for me. I'm blessed I had an amazing holiday and got a lot of new energy to create some really nice things.
This blog is called "Throwback Thursday" because I went to China Town this week here in Singapore last week. And I loved it so much I had to blog about it. So many little markets and shops with all these nice souvenirs and cheap stuff. I got a lot of bracelets for my friends back home in Holland. It smelled there like fruits, and other Chinese food. Although it was very crowdes, it had an nice atmosphere. That day I was wearing my H&m fringe blue shorts, with 'the New Icons' shirt I got a while ago also at H&M combined with an old denim gilet which I found somewhere back in my closet. Ofcourse with one of my favorite shoes, the nude with black accent Steve Madden shoes!
While I'm blogging here at Changi Airport, thinking about my fabulous and fashionable vacation I don't want to go back to the Netherlands. But, I have to.. But I got all these sweet memories! For now I'm gonna take one big sleeping-pill and take a long nap in the airplane. Sleepwell, xoxo Alyssa.

SINGAPORE NIGHTLIFE LOOK

I fell in love with Singapore, it's always summer! You can wear your summer-outfit every day of the year, what do you need more? The sun is always shining, and that's making me happy as a kid in a candyshop. Even at night the temperature is perfect, that's why I'm wearing this très chique dress, which I bought about 6 or 7 years ago at Zara. One of my first items I bought at Zara, and since then I'm addicted to this store! Love their vision and designs of the clothing they sell, absolutly fashionable and affordable.
