THE ALYSSA-ISSUE

It's the first of September, and as you Fashionista's may know; it's September-Issue time. Very important. This month is special for me, so I call it the Alyssa-Issue. This month is a sort of new beginning or something. In a way I feel like a new person. Tuesday I'm going to start an internship at the Darling in the Nine Streets in Amsterdam. It's feels a bit like I'm starting a whole new life, with all new special things... and: I'm so excited to begin this 'new life'. Can't wait to create new things and learn the ins and outs about designing clothing and fashion. Next week is my first day at the Vogue Academy, so it gets better and better! It feels like my life is beginning to turn upside down, but in a good way. And, don't you agree, with a new beginning; there must be a new look. So this is my outfit-of-the-day, Alyssa 2.2 (also known as: the Alyssa-Issue). On top of that, I made an appointment to change my hair as well. So I can start fresh, all bright and shiny! MULTI-COLORED BLAZER 'BY FABRIO'

When I walked through the '9 straatjes' in Amsterdam I ran into this cute little store called 'By Fabrio', they sell really nice clothing for nothing more than €29,95. Perfect, don't you agree? When I took a look at their collection I found this amazing multi-colored blazer, and I instantly fell in love with it. I had to buy it, otherwise I would never forgive myself ;-) so.. I got it, and I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect little jacket for the summer, because of all these nice colors you get immediately happy! I combined it with my 'the New Icons' shirt for H&M and these fringe shorts (also H&M). Together with my Jimmy Choo's it's the perfect outfit, don't you think? At the moment it's one of my favorite outfits of the day. Meanwhile I'm enjoying Amsterdam the fullest, still looking for a place to live here in the city but I can't wait to start with my new education at the Vogue Academy and make beautiful creative things! LIFE'S A BEACH

After an amazing weekend with a lot of great party's I went to the beach to work on my tan. After Milkshake after-party I went to bed around 5.30h and woke up around 9, and surprisingly I had so much energy. So I took the train from Amsterdam to Den Haag. When I arrived at the beach it was also calm and quite, it was so lovely to relax and enjoy the sun. I'm wearing an easy going outfit, just a white t-shirt with a denim gilet, combined with fringe shorts. To complete this look, I wore my new beach hat I got as a present from Stella ♡ I totally love it!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: CHINA TOWN

Hello my followers all over the world,
Today I'm writing my blog on Changi Airport, this was my last day here in Singapore for now. I really enjoyed being in the big city with fashionable people, delicious food, a lot of Asian people and the many good clothing stores. Now all my money is gone, I have to go back to my normal life again. It's time for graduating, so it will be a very stressfull time for me. I'm blessed I had an amazing holiday and got a lot of new energy to create some really nice things.
This blog is called "Throwback Thursday" because I went to China Town this week here in Singapore last week. And I loved it so much I had to blog about it. So many little markets and shops with all these nice souvenirs and cheap stuff. I got a lot of bracelets for my friends back home in Holland. It smelled there like fruits, and other Chinese food. Although it was very crowdes, it had an nice atmosphere. That day I was wearing my H&m fringe blue shorts, with 'the New Icons' shirt I got a while ago also at H&M combined with an old denim gilet which I found somewhere back in my closet. Ofcourse with one of my favorite shoes, the nude with black accent Steve Madden shoes!
While I'm blogging here at Changi Airport, thinking about my fabulous and fashionable vacation I don't want to go back to the Netherlands. But, I have to.. But I got all these sweet memories! For now I'm gonna take one big sleeping-pill and take a long nap in the airplane. Sleepwell, xoxo Alyssa.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

A couple days ago I passed by this shoe-shop in Singapore and I saw this quote on the wall, I think it's made for me. Funny cause it's true! I love shoes, and yes they make me happy. I don't care what other people think about it.
I'm here in Singapore for a week now, and I fell in love with this country. So much energy, and still a nice atmosphere. The people here have a good taste in fashion, and my gosh the shopping area is AMAZING!! I really wish sometimes I had all the money in the world, so I could spend it here!. I'm staying here only until Thursday, so I will enjoy it the fullest. One thing for sure, the sun is the only thing that keeps me happy! Hope you have a nice holiday as well xoxo Alyssa

I love the sun! Yesterday it was such a beautiful day, with a nice temperature and a lot of sunshine! I'm happy when it's sunny, I can't help it. So me and Paulien decided to make some Outfit-of-the-Day pictures for our blog. After a couple of outfits, we went to our standerd bar for some wine. Well, a lot of wine. What a nice day! P R I M A R K 2 0 1 3

Primark, a nice shop with sometimes nice things, but always too crowded for me. Okay, I know it's really cheap, but all these people are shopping as if their life depends on it. And because it's cheap, you like to buy a lot. Even stuff you don't really like or fit. And the quality kind of sucks, but anyways... sometimes they have amazing items. And again, I couldn't resist. My mom took me this week to Rotterdam for (again) a little shoppingtrip. Wait... O MY GOD! It's because of my mom, I am a Shopaholic. Haha, whatever I couldn't care less. I love it!

So, I went to Primark. I try not to go there too much, because I can't stand it when there are too much people and otherwise I would be broke as hell. But for a couple times a year, it's perfect. I always come back with some bags, and shoes! To fill up my collection ;-) 

I will show you everything I bought in an other 'Outfit of the Day' post. I'll keep you posted!

Always, after a shopping trip, when I'm showing my parents my new items - they think I've lost my mind. Because I get back with the most strange and sometimes in a weird (kind of way) ugly things. My dad thinks I'm a sort of Hippie, haha maybe that's true! I love the Bohemian Chic look.
I got this jacket in 'de 9 straatjes' in Amsterdam at a Vintage store called Episode. Such a nice suede jacket with fringe and above all I adore the color. It's easy to combine and looks good at almost everything. Just like these trousers, which are dificult to wear because of the colors and the print.

What do you think about this look? I felt like a little happy hippie today. Hope you felt the same ;-)
