DENIM AND OVERSIZED, SIZE IT UP!

As you may know I adore the sun. Especially when it's autumn; the beautiful colors of the leafs on the trees. Everything looks so pretty and pure. I think it's difficult to dress yourself this time a year. Because it's too cold or too warm, but I have found a solution; layers (a lot of layers). Then it's perfect! At the moment I'm loving the oversized trend, my new leopard-print coat from Mango fits so nice, lovely to wrap myself in it when I'm cold. It's sort of boyfiend-chic look. The same for the jeans, they are soooo comfortable! Sometimes I'm asking myself, why do I wear skinny jeans when you can wear these comfy pants. To spice it up, I have to wear my favorite killer heels by Steve Madden. It completes my outfit, and makes it more feminine, don't you think? 

Meanwhile, the weather has changed and it's raining all day. So I decided to stay home, until it's over.. Make some clothing, and do some homework for school. Living the good life :) xoxo

NEW STUDY, NEW JOB, NEW CITY, NEW LOOK

After some hectic weeks, I finally found some time to make a new blogpost for you guys. Yesterday was such a lovely day, the sun was shining and everything was just stunning. I had the day off, so I enjoyed it the fullest. Biking through Amsterdam is one of the nicest things you can do on a day like this. 

As you might know, a lot has changed the last couple of weeks; like for example my look. I actually didn't noticed it before; until I saw the pictures. I got this Chanel-bag shirt from The Darling, a cute little shop at the 9 straatjes in Amsterdam. You likey?

Since I've been living in Amsterdam everything falls into place, I've been creating so much more clothing, and designing other things. In a way I'm just one happy little lady. I just love to be busy with the things I love to do :) enjoy your day Darlings xoxo

SHE WOLF

Sometimes I like to toughen up my outfit of the day. Everybody thinks I'm such a 'lady' because I wear dresses and heels most of the time, well then they don't now me. Sometimes I'm doubting myself if I'm a lady, haha I don't like chocolate and I can read maps very well. Yup, I know I'm strange! So today I wanted to be a tough chick, and why not wear this amazing leather gilet with a wolf shirt (both from the New Yorker). I forgot I had this shirt, it was between my dancing clothes. I don't know why I wore it in my ballet class, but it's nice to finally create an outfit with it. Normally when I'm shopping I always skip the New Yorker. Why? I don't know, it just happen. But my friend Nuance told my I had to go there and just take a look, and boy... she was right! Bye bye money, hello new clothing! I combined this with a small striped black and white trousers from the children department at H&M. Yes, I'm a tiny lady of 1.58m so I fit children's clothing. Well it's quite handy, because nowadays they have sort of the same clothing but much cheaper! And to complete this "She-Wolf" look I'm wearing my dear Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. WINING AND DINING IN ROTTERDAM

Yesterday I had a wine-date with my friend Maaike from the dance academy. It was a nice summer day, perfect for a little shopping-trip, terrace-time with a lot of talking and of course having some wine. What a lovely day, for a moment it felt like we were in school again; bringing up memories and gossip. The only thing we were missing were the delicious tosti's from Anvers, but all by all it was such a nice day. Check out my vacation-look: I'm wearing a white/green ombre-blazer, with a basic top from H&M combined with one of my favorite items at the moment the short/skirt from Zara. To complete my outfit I choose to wear these colorful shoes which I got years ago at the New Look, and a classy clutch. What do you think about this look?

MULTI-COLORED BLAZER 'BY FABRIO'

When I walked through the '9 straatjes' in Amsterdam I ran into this cute little store called 'By Fabrio', they sell really nice clothing for nothing more than €29,95. Perfect, don't you agree? When I took a look at their collection I found this amazing multi-colored blazer, and I instantly fell in love with it. I had to buy it, otherwise I would never forgive myself ;-) so.. I got it, and I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect little jacket for the summer, because of all these nice colors you get immediately happy! I combined it with my 'the New Icons' shirt for H&M and these fringe shorts (also H&M). Together with my Jimmy Choo's it's the perfect outfit, don't you think? At the moment it's one of my favorite outfits of the day. Meanwhile I'm enjoying Amsterdam the fullest, still looking for a place to live here in the city but I can't wait to start with my new education at the Vogue Academy and make beautiful creative things! If you ask me, the colors black and white combined with red are just magical. It looks amazing on each other,  don't you think? So simple, but it works in a way. The red trousers gives this whole look an edge. I'm wearing my favorite Steve Madden nude heels, with a black accent. These shoes walk like heaven, I mean seriously: HEAVEN. Nobody believes me, but it's true and that's why I love them. I can walk miles in them without having pain in my feet. Just as what I did today, I walked across Amsterdam, just doing my thing and enjoying the weather. As you can see, this is a real casual look for me. Normally I'm wearing more extravagant outfits, but sometimes it's good to go basic, don't you think?

LIFE'S A BEACH

After an amazing weekend with a lot of great party's I went to the beach to work on my tan. After Milkshake after-party I went to bed around 5.30h and woke up around 9, and surprisingly I had so much energy. So I took the train from Amsterdam to Den Haag. When I arrived at the beach it was also calm and quite, it was so lovely to relax and enjoy the sun. I'm wearing an easy going outfit, just a white t-shirt with a denim gilet, combined with fringe shorts. To complete this look, I wore my new beach hat I got as a present from Stella ♡ I totally love it!

MADDY-PADDY-MONDAY WITH MALOU

Today I hang out with my friend Malou in Amsterdam, just us girls talking about stuff and drinking some wine. Malou is very creative with nail-polish, so I asked her to do my nails as well. She created this leopard-print, and I'm so happy with it. I thought it would be very difficult to make it, but it actually isn't that hard. So we had our Maddy-Paddy-Monday! What do you think of the result?

HAPPY LEOPARD LOOK IN AMSTERDAM

One day I woke up and in my head I made this outfit, and guess what? It's a cool look, don't you think? I love these leopard printed trousers, it's nice they're in black and white like a snow leopard. I combined it with a top from New Look and my favorite blazer from the Miranda Kerr campaign for Mango. This is such a classy blazer, tres chique!

This picture is made in Amsterdam, as you can see this city makes me happy! I totally dig this atmosphere here, I'm addicted. I love the people, they're so much more fashionable than in Tilburg where I've lived when I was a student. It makes me feel free when I walk around the city, anything can happen and I feel I really live in the moment then.

G R A D U A T I O N - O U T F I T

On the 6th of July I finally got my diploma at the Dance academy, from now on I'm a "professional" dancer. For this occasion I really wanted to dress up, because it a special moment in your life. I went shopping with my Mom in Amsterdam, but couldn't find any dress. Searched over the internet, but I wasn't very satisfied. So a week before the graduation ceremony I ordered this dress at Asos.com. First I wasn't that happy with it, but it's something. But when I wore it, I fell in love with this dress. I mean red is a dangerous color, but it makes your look sexy in a way. I combined it with my leopard print shoes, which I bought in Singapore with a little had to finish my outfit. That day felt a bit like a red carpet event, most of the girls looked so pretty with their hair done, some make-up and of course killer heels! I brought my Anna Dello Russo crocodile glasses as well, which my friend Carlijn is wearing on the picture below! I really enjoyed this day, with a lot of booze :) hihi take a look at some pictures!

ROSES ARE RED, SO IS MY OUTFIT OF THE DAY!

Today I was experimenting with my new look, I thought it would be fun to combine my red blazer with my red pants. And guess what: it works! Don't you think it looks classy, like I was going to a meeting at the office or something. But it's not a boring look, not at all if you ask me. I think it's edgy and also a bit sexy because if the color red. On the picture it looks like I've cut my hair, my friend Alisa (the Hair-Stylist) told me it looks so nice on me, maybe we have to try it. Well, maybe not! Haha on wednesday, I'm a model for the end performance for the graduation. I'm excited! Can't wait to see what she's gonna do to my hair! For now, enjoy the summer! xoxo Alyssa

B O Y F R I E N D - C H I C

Normally I'm the skinny-jeans kinda girl, but one day I just bought these boyfriend jeans at the H&M and I'm hooked. The looks you can create with it is endless. You can go for sporty look, or casual, comfy or wear it with heels like I did. To make it a bit more feminine, but not too girly girly. It's sort of edgy and sexy but also classy because of the blazer. I got this one at the Forever 21 in Singapore, and I wear it all the time, in a way it fits almost every look.

I combined this look with my new bag (also from Singapore) which I got at Charles & Keith, it's a simple bag but with nice summer colors. The shoes are also from Charles and Keith, and they match perfectly with the blazer, don't you think. I made this pictures a while ago as you can see, when the sun was shining. I HEART AMSTERDAM

Today I spent my day in Amsterdam, just walking around the city and enjoying life. It's so nice to be there, can't wait to live there next month! It was a lovely day, with a lot of sunshine. I had some wine on the terrace at de canal 'de Amstel' and it really felt like a holiday, such a nice atmosphere! During the day I watched a lot of people pass by, and I was so amazed because they all look fashionable. I walked across Amsterdam and I really fell in love with this city! I heart Amsterdam, big time. Here are some pictures of my today's look, really casual but edgy as well - with my new bag from Singapore which I bought at this amazing store Charles & Keith.

YES! Some good news, Isabel Marant is going to design a exclusive line for H&M this fall. I love her 'Paris chique style', which she mixes with an urban attitude, boho elegance and a rock-'n-roll spirit she creates a French allure. For H&M Isabel Marant will design some must have-items, inspired on het own style. It will be released on November 14th, worldwide and online. I cant wait, I think I have to save my money already and buy a sleeping bag, because I really have to have some items of this collection. I adore Isabel Marant!
