ISABEL MARANT FOR H&M

YES! Some good news, Isabel Marant is going to design a exclusive line for H&M this fall. I love her 'Paris chique style', which she mixes with an urban attitude, boho elegance and a rock-'n-roll spirit she creates a French allure. For H&M Isabel Marant will design some must have-items, inspired on het own style. It will be released on November 14th, worldwide and online. I cant wait, I think I have to save my money already and buy a sleeping bag, because I really have to have some items of this collection. I adore Isabel Marant!

LASTWEEK SUMMER, TODAY WINTER

I made these pictures a week ago, it was a sunny day and it was about 18 degrees. And today it's -2 and there's snow! What is happening to the world? I really miss the sun, it makes me happy and you can wear your summer-outfits again.
On these pictures below I'm wearing my new hat I got from the Monki. It's a bit over the top, but I like it that way. Combined with my mint green shorts by Dutch designer Darryl van Wouw. Such a nice item, but sometimes difficult to match with other clothing, because there's a lot of color and there's so much happening. Another item I re-invented in my closet were my Jimmy Choo's shoes from H&M a couple years ago. They're really cute, and sexy in a way.

I hope the sun will return to the Netherlands soon, because it's really sucks right now. I feel like laying in bed all day with a cup of tea and have a wintersleep or something. BAS KOSTERS | THE REBELLIOUS SHADOW

About a month ago Dutch designer Bas Kosters showed his collection called: 'The Rebellious Shadow' for fall 2013/2014 in London. The collection is based on the idea of priciples are not part of everyday life. They exist only in our 'shadow'. It's mainly about aimlessly protest - which is unknown - and a new look at the color black. As the successor of the penis print chose Kosters now for a SM-design. Kosters made ​​use of his favorite material: satin, jersey, Lycra, corduroy and silk.
I love Bas Kosters, such an amazing designer, and I totally get his idea about it only exist in out shadow. Just brilliant! What a inspiration! Don't you think?

DOLCE & GABANA FALL 2013

Love this collection from D&G this fall, these colors and fabrics are really beautiful. In a way it reminds me of the middle ages, with the paterns and colors. I like the accessories from this collection, so chique! Me likey! 

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: "LADY IN BLACK"

I love the color black (eventhough some people say it's not a color). It's beautiful to combine, with some more black. And you have to agree with me... black is never out of style! 

I bought this top in the Solden in Antwerp on a shoppingtrip with my mom. I wanted it for so long, and now I finally have it! Easy to combine and really classy (if you ask me)... I combined this top with a leather skirt (to make it a bit more tougher) and these two-toned tights. I didn't know how to wear these tights, it's difficult because it can look a bit slutty. But I think I did a good job with this 'Outfit of the day'. I felt a bit like Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl haha. Don't you think? Let me know :)

MILITARY-CHIC

MILITARY-JACKET ZARA | SWEATER MANGO | TROUSERS H&M | SHOES STEVE MADDEN | BAG VINTAGE

This is one of my favorite outfits at the moment, I call it Military-chic. I combined my new Military jacket from the Zara with a neutral white sweater and black jeans. To match the gold decorations on the jacket, I decided to wear my new Steve Madden (heel-less) shoes with the golden chains. It's not so easy to walk in them, but I forced myself to put them on today.
I went to a café in Tilburg, called 'Anvers' with my friend Paulien to have a delicious tosti and some wine (ofcourse). We always have these lazy days together: just sitting on the couch watching tv, create  some new outfits, smoking ciggy's, shoot eachothers 'Outfit of the Day-pictures', having fun, drinking wine and bailey's and talk a lot about everything and everybody :) Love these days. After a long day making OOTD-pictures, we sit next to eachother with our MacBooks and blog all night long. So nice that we can enjoy ourselves while we're together!

I bought this dress 5 years ago in Australia and around that time I saw a picture of Sienna Miller in a magazine wearing my dress! Well that felt great, because she's such a style icon and a inspiration for me. It's a really cute little dress, colorful and cheerful. And it's easy to combine this dress with heels, flats or boots. Lost and found. - For my report about my time in Stockholm I was looking for some 'old' pictures on my computer, and then I found these. I think I made them about a year ago when I returned to Tilburg. PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013 WITHOUT MCQUEEN

Sad news for all the Alexander McQueen fans, the British fashion-label wont be giving a show at the Paris Fashion Week this March, because designer Sarah Burton will be with maternity leave. She's pregnant with twins and decided not to travel to Paris for Fashion Week. That's too bad, because I adore Alexander McQueen so much, I was so curious to see the new collection. McQueen will have a private presentation on the 5th of March to show the fall/winter collection 2013-2014. But... that's only on invitation for around hundred people. So no McQueen for me ;-) haha
The next spring/summer 2014 collection will be showed on the next Paris Fashion Week, announed Burton.

But here some beautiful Alexander McQueen couture from this season, spring/summer 2013.... Stunning, and what a inspiration!

STUDS-AND-CHAINS

BLAZER WITH STUDS ONLY | BLOUSE ZARA | TROUSERS H&M | SHOES UNKNOWN

As you may now, I love studs. About two years ago I bought some studs at the Albert Cuyp market in Amsterdam and put them on my shorts, jackets, bags and other stuff. And now, they're all hot and happening. I feel a bit like a trendsetter. 

A while ago my mom came to visit me in Tilburg, afther we had lunch at the opening of the Bagels and Beans we had a little shoppingtrip. I was so dissapointed I didn't saw a thing I liked, that I became a bit desperate. So I went to the Only, and there I saw this blazer with studs and chains. I immediatley fell in love with it (ofcourse) and I had to buy it. There was one problem, I didn't had the money because of all the Christmas-shopping. 

So I looked at my Mom, and she got it for me. I'm one lucky girl. It's such an eye-catching item in my wardrobe. I'm so looking foward to create some new looks and outfits with this blazer. 

In this picture I combined the blazer with a neutral blouse (which is, as you may see on my blog, one of my favorite items) and a printed blue jeans with... studded high heels! I think this is a though look, but also classy at the same time?

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA: LEATHER JACKET

I made a promise last time that I would make a better picture of my Maison Martin Margiela items. Here is the first one, the leather biker jacket. It's not very easy to wear because it's quite heavy, and the leather is also quite hard. But, like Anna Dello Russo once said: "Fashion is always uncomfortable, when you feel comfortable you never get the look."

So here it is. I'm very happy with it, and I'm trying to create some look with it. Today I decided to dress all black, so everybody could take a look at my jacket ;-) haha. I felt like the 'Lady in Black'.

In a way this outfit reminds me of a candy-store. I think it's because of the trousers, which I love! Just love the new black-and-white trend this spring. And it's easy to combine with any color. Today I decided to choose a red blazer. I bought this one a year ago at the H&M, but then I dyed my hair pink, well... only dipped ends ;-) but pink and red doesn't match. So I forgot about this blazer... But's it's nice to re-invented it.

I made this picture a while ago, as you can see it was fall back then. The shoes I'm wearing here

 are one of my favorite, because they're FIERCE! I bought them at a cute little store called Alysa Mode. 

Haha I feel so honored that they named a shoe store after me (kind of). 

I know it's actually not really daywear, but I wear it to school anyway. Like Anna Dello Russo once said:

"I don't have any daywear, because it's a waste of time for me." and I couldn't agree more!

When I'm wearing these shoes everybody is sort of shocked and asks 'How can you walk on that?'

It's just like normal wedge shoes, it feels totally normal for me. I can even dance on them!

So... when I'm wearing these babies, don't get into a fight with me or you will be hurt haha,

because the spikes are pretty painfull! So be nice, otherwise I'll kick your ass ;-) xoxo

More than a year ago I was standing hours and hours in line in front of the H&M for the collection of Versace in Stockholm, for this amazing studded jacket! Love love love it so much!! But that was not the only 'fashion highlight' of my time in Stockholm, I also stood in line in front of the Bikbok (a fabulous Swedish clothing store) for the collection of the one and only Whitney Port. Where this blouse is from. I totally forgot about this cute light pink blouse. It's so nice to find back your forgotten clothing!

MILITAIRY CHIC

And once again, I fell in love with an amazing military jacket from Zara. I already told myself not to buy anything, until I saw this beauty. My friend told me I was crazy if I didn't buy it, and I would regret it. So I spent my life savings haha. I told my Mom, and first she got mad because I have to "save" some money but then I showed her the jacket and she changed her mind haha, she loved it as well! She even gave me the money back, because it's an investment for my future! I love my Mom, she's the best ♡
I think this is such an eyecatcher and a classy item, you can wear it for years! It never goes out of style! Indeed Mom, it's a nice investment! Now I need some nice shoes for my "Military-Chic" outfit!

I look like a little diva. Haha I wish I could be a diva ;-) no I'm kidding.

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: MARY-KATE OLSEN STYLE

JACKET ALBERT CUYP | BLOUSE ZARA | TROUSERS H&M | SHOES ISABEL MARANT

About two years ago I discovered studs, and now you see them everywhere! In a way 

I saw that trend comming, haha maybe I should become a Trend Watcher instead. 

Back then I ordered these gigantic golden studs online, but I didn't know what to do with them.

So I saved them for later, I thought maybe I get some inspiration in a while.

A couple weeks later I bought this leather jacket with puffed sleeves at the Albert Cuyp Market

in Amsterdam. I thought it was such an eye catcher and it's a little too much (if you know what I mean)

that I really had to buy it. Later on I saw this picture of Mary-Kate Olsen

wearing a leather jacket with big golden studs on her sleeves: 1 + 1 = my inspiration. 

So I decided to make something like that. I think I did a nice job, and I'm so happy it.

I totally forgot about this jacket, but I found it back a couple days ago and I re-fell in love!!
