CRUELLA DE VILL TROUSERS

As you may know, I love Cruealla de Vill. Black and white is one of the best color combinations if you ask me, it's so chique and it gives you a whole other attitude. I thought it would be nice to make some black and white trousers. But there was one problem, I didn't know how to make because I never used a sewing machine. So, this little miss smartypants bought two pairs of pants (black and white) at the H&M, and took them in pieces. With some help from my mom I made my own black and white trousers. I'm so happy with the result!
I combined my new pants with some happy colors, like yellow and red. Let the sunshine come, becaue I'm ready for the summer!! What do you think? Let me know xoxo

FASHION NO FASHION @ DANSNACHT, TILBURG

After graduating, I had one more project at school for Dansnacht in Tilburg: called FASHION, NO FASHION. A piece made by Marc van Loon and hair+styling by Jeroen Zellenrath, where dance meets fashion. I love the fact they combined my two big passions, dance and fashion. We all felt like supermodels with our amazing wigs, make-up and wearing high heels on the runway. Here are some pictures of this fabulous performance. SUMMER, I MISS YOU BIG TIME! PLEASE COME BACK!!

This is the dress I bought in London! I was planning to wear it with Christmas, but then I got a fever. So I was wearing my pyjama's at dinner. I can't wait to wear this dress!! But it's way too cold. Therefor it has to be summer. Anyways, I can't wait to see the sun again. As you may now, I don't like the cold, windy, rainy and snowy days. I want to wear nice dresses and peeptoe shoes with a blazer. Instead of a snowsuit.

Back to the dress... I was looking for a long time for this kind of dress, which is shorter at front and longer at the back. But because I'm so small, they back was always way too long (even with heels). But not this one, this dress is perfect for me! I'm glad I finally found this one!

I bought this dress 5 years ago in Australia and around that time I saw a picture of Sienna Miller in a magazine wearing my dress! Well that felt great, because she's such a style icon and a inspiration for me. It's a really cute little dress, colorful and cheerful. And it's easy to combine this dress with heels, flats or boots. You likey?? xoxo

FROZEN FOUNTAIN

I took this photo a while ago, as you can see - because it's snowing like crazy today! So I'm trying not to leave the house today! In the winter when it's freezing, this fountain is all frozen. In February a year ago I allready blogged about it, you can find it here. It's so beautful! When I bike to school every morning I pass this fountain, already for four years! Such a nice location. And eventhough it was so cold, the sun was shining, so that makes everything better! Hopefully the snow and the cold will be gone soon, so I can wear my skirts and dresses again! Haha I hate the winter!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: STUDS & SPIKES SHOES

I made this picture a while ago, as you can see it was fall back then. The shoes I'm wearing here

 are one of my favorite, because they're FIERCE! I bought them at a cute little store called Alysa Mode. 

Haha I feel so honored that they named a shoe store after me (kind of). 

I know it's actually not really daywear, but I wear it to school anyway. Like Anna Dello Russo once said:

"I don't have any daywear, because it's a waste of time for me." and I couldn't agree more!

When I'm wearing these shoes everybody is sort of shocked and asks 'How can you walk on that?'

It's just like normal wedge shoes, it feels totally normal for me. I can even dance on them!

So... when I'm wearing these babies, don't get into a fight with me or you will be hurt haha,

because the spikes are pretty painfull! So be nice, otherwise I'll kick your ass ;-) xoxo

More than a year ago I was standing hours and hours in line in front of the H&M for the collection of Versace in Stockholm, for this amazing studded jacket! Love love love it so much!! But that was not the only 'fashion highlight' of my time in Stockholm, I also stood in line in front of the Bikbok (a fabulous Swedish clothing store) for the collection of the one and only Whitney Port. Where this blouse is from. I totally forgot about this cute light pink blouse. It's so nice to find back your forgotten clothing!

It's getting colder and colder here in Holland, but it's not keeping Paulien and me from getting some pictures.

Paulien and me had a day off from school, so we decided to make some pictures for our blog.

We got together this afternoon with suitcases full of clothing and shoes to make the perfect outfit. 

After our 'hair and make-up' we took a little tour through Tilburg to find some nice spots.

We accidentally found this cute little 'park' near by our school. I was so surprised we found this in Tilburg.

It was a beautiful winterday, ofcourse way too cold but the sun was shining! And it was stunning!

I didn't think about this outfit when I went out it on this morning, but when I look at myself in the pictue

I look like a little diva. Haha I wish I could be a diva ;-) no I'm kidding.

It's almost Christmas! And what do you think when I say Christmas? Yes indeed: COLD!!

So, a nice opportunity to dress warm, with a cute little cap with a bear. I feel like a kid when I'm wearing it!

This picture is taken near by a cafe I visit like 5 times a week, because they have the best tosti's in Holland.

Paulien and I once broke the record, we sat there 11 hours! From 15h until 2 o'clock at night.

Haha that's the dancers life ;-) Have a nice day, and dress warm otherwise you get a cold!

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: ANNA DELLO RUSSO STYLE.

As you may know, I like to dress up. I think there's living a little Anna Dello Russo in me, 

but I don't have the balls to dress up like her. I just think she's a beautiful appearance 

with an amazing sense of style. Anna Dello Russo is the ultimate fashionista and fashion maniac.

Such a style icon, and a sort of hero: because rumour has it she owns more than 4000 pairs of shoes!!

I wish I could be like her, and just wear anything you like. I'm trying to do that, but sometimes it's hard.

Because you'll always be judged. But I like Anna Dello Russo's way of thinking:

why should you care about what people are thinking about you? And I couldn't agree more!!

From now on, I don't give a shit anymore what you think about what I'm wearing!

I have the tendency to only wear heels, correction... HIGH HEELS. Because I'm tiny little bitch ;-) 

but everybody is telling me that I have to wear some kick-ass biker boots. 

I really like them, but not for myself. It's not really my thing!

GET THE LONDON LOOK

Hello world,
Yesterday I came back after a few days in London. Two of my Swedish friends, Josefin and Åsa - are living there right now, so I decided to visit them. London is never a bad idea right?
We walked through London city and act like real tourists. I was planning to shop a lot,
but I didn't quite succeed... my parents can be really proud of me.
But if I had more time, it would have been another story.
We visited the London Tower Bridge (which was an amazing experience), ofcourse Oxford Street,
went to Åsa's work at Westfield shopping center, Piccadilly Street, saw the Big Ben
and after that we went back to Oxford street. I bought a super cute dress at Topshop.
I wanted a nice jacket/blazer and fabulous shoes, but I think it wasn't meant to be.

Early yesterday morning we flew back, so we stayed awake all night and took the night buss to the airport.
I am only now recovering a bit. But just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the couple days in London!
So nice it's possible just leave everything behind for a few days.
Dear Josefin and Åsa: thank you so much!! And see you soon in Amsterdam!!

I'm so sorry, the last couple of weeks was really hectic so I really didn't had time to make a new post. But, I'm back! Okay I'm trying to keep my promise this time, and post more often!
To keep myself busy these days, I'm going to make some streetstyle photo's, but that's hard in Tilburg ;-)
But I allready made some with a friend. I'm happy with the result, and I'm going to do this more often.
Meanwhile I've got a lot of new clothes, but I'm having trouble making new cute outfits.

ANNA DELLO RUSSO FOR H&M: THE RESULT

Okay, there are no words to describe. So here are the pictures!!

 

ANNA DELLO RUSSO FOR H&M [PART I]

04.42 AM. - Goodmorning, aren't you a ray of sunshine? Well, I got out of bed at 04.00 am, so I haven't seen the sun yet (and ofcourse, it's raining again). You think I must be crazy to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning, but it's for a good cause, because today is the release of ANNA DELLO RUSSO'S accessory/shoe line at H&M. Well I was planning to sleep a little longer, but I was allready awake from midnight. The first train is going in a hour, so I have to keep myself awake with some coffee and blogging.

While everybody think it's crazy to stand in line for hours in front of the H&M and spend a lot of money on a pair of shoes and sunglassess, I think it's an investment in the future. So mom and dad, when you're reading this on your fabulous holiday at the beach: IT'S AN INVESTMENT FOR MY (hopefully) CAREER IN FASHION haha, so don't get angry when I'm broke in a few hours.

But back to the collection of Anna Dello Russo. She's the editor and creative consultant for the Japanese Vogue. She's the ultimate passionate fashionista and a fashion maniac. Anna got an amazing taste in style and rumour has it she owns more than 4000 pairs of shoes. She is also having a whole apartment in Milan for just her clothing! Wow. I wish I had a closet like her, with a lot of haute couture. She's a little crazy, but I think it's wonderfull. Anna's clothing combinations are so beautiful, and extravagant... I sometimes wish I had the balls to wear it just like her. Maybe someday...

05.14 AM. - Okay, I have to leave in 20-25 minutes. No more coffee for me, otherwise I have to pee, and there is no time to pee when you're standing in line or when you're fighting for your shoes. Weather update: still raining. And I am wondering how I get through the day without sleep. I think I've slept for like 3 hours, so it's gonna be a long long day. But it's totally worth it! I mean I've been doing this for years now, I stood in line for Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Versace. It's like a little schooltrip for me, with a really nice goodie bag. So, let the bitchfight begin. And I say just like Anna Dello Russo: "You Need A Fashion Shower".
I'll update you if I got my items...
