IMELDA IS MY MIDDLE NAME

As you might know, I adore shoes. I think you can't have enough of them, and Cinderella is proof that they can change your life. They transform your body language and attitude, but they also lift you physically and emotionally. You can call me crazy, but I know it's true. During my stay in Sweden, I didn't wore my heels a lot because everything was far far away and also the stones on the sidewalks - they weren't very High-Heel friendly. I remembered I felt a little bit sad when I wasn't wearing them, because I'm like a tiny little dwarf without my precious heels. In a way I didn't feel the woman in me. You have to admit it, they make you feel feminine and sexy. And... they can complete your outfit!

One of my shoes-idols (is that a term?) is Imelda Marcos. She is a widow of the former president of the Philippines. They referred her as the Steel Butterfly, and is often remembered for symbols of the extravagance of her husband's political reign, including her collection of 2700 pairs of shoes. Sweet mother of God, I think that might be heaven! I can't imagne how anybody could have so many shoes! I mean, I'm a collector of shoes myself, but even Anna Dello Russo doesn't have so many shoes.

But anyways... I got these precious heels for my birthday, couple weeks ago. My parents gave me these  'Invisible Wedge Pump' from Maison Martin Margiela for H&M. Simply stunning.
I have to admit, it's dificult to buy shoes when you already have so many shoes. Because when I'm shopping, I'm always searching for something new and it's getting harder and harder. But these babies are totally new, and I like them a lot. My parents know what to get me :) what do you think about shoes? Or Imelda Marcos? Or Anna Dello Russo? Or Maison Martin Margiela? Let me know.

Today it's my birthday, I'm 22 now. Feeling like an old fart. But what can you do about it? Nothing... So I have a little birthday party with some friends. What do you think of my birthday outfit?

FOREVER 21 - FOR NOW, TWO DAYS LEFT

In a few days I'll be turning 22, and everybody is reminding me of it. In a way it's kind of a big deal for me this year, I don't know why but it feels like I'm getting old and now I have to act mature or something. Maybe I should get myself together and just accept the fact I'm not FOREVER 21...
So therefor I combined some new and old items for this look today. I love the black-and-white trend for this spring/summer '13 and to cheer it up, so I decided to wear my new red hat. Too bad it's windy and rainy all day now, and I don't feel like going out these days. You see? I'm getting old. If it was up to me I would lay in bed all day, but life goes on. Anna Dello Russo (there she is again haha) once said: "When you don't deel to dress, means you are depressed." Well that's luckily not the case here anymore.
So maybe I should stop whining about eveything and be happy. There is a lot going to happen the couple of months, and I'm excited but also a bit scared. But's that's normal I think. We'll have to wait and see... For now: ENJOY YOUR DAY FASHIONISTA'S!
