I bought a new clothing-rack this week, because I didn't had enough place for all my dresses.

It's still not enough, but I don't care so much now! I'm happy with it...

Exactly what's hot this summer! Not too much, just keeping it simple and easy.

INSPIRATION

So simple, but o so stunning. I'm in love with the sweater, it's cute and edgy in the same time. 

And those trousers are amazing as well, I want to have them! Don't get me started about the shoes.

I'm loving it!!! I'm getting a bit jelous!

DO IT YOURSELF: ARMBANDEN VAN TAKJES.

"Je collectie accessoires uitbreiden zonder veel geld uit te geven: hoe fijn is dat? Een do-it-yourself met armbanden uit de natuur, want het is een armband van takjes! Ja meiden, ga buiten op zoek naar een mooie boom met mooie takjes en een leuke armband is gegarandeerd! Succes!

 Wat heb je nodig:
- een paar takjes
- gouden metallic verf (een spuitbus kun je onder andere kopen bij HEMA)
- lijm (of lijmpistool zoals op de foto)
- draad

Aan de slag1. Snijd of knip de takjes iets groter dan je de breedte van je arm.

 2. Buig ze in een ronde vorm en zorg dat aan een de takjes aan het eind over elkaar heen vallen.

3. Wikkel draad om het uiteinde van de takjes om te zorgen dat het in een cirkeltje blijft zitten.

4. Doe er een beetje lijm op om het draad vast te houden.

5. Spuit de armbanden goud. Bedek de bandjes een aantal keer met een goudlaag zekerheid.

6. Laat het drogen."

Dit ga ik zeker proberen! Ik trek m'n schoenen aan, en ga op zoek naar takjes! xoxo A.

I can not wait for the summer to begin when I see the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer collection of 2012. It's really fresh, colorfull with a taste of bohemian chic and... I'm loving it!

PERFORMING FOR THE QUEEN [PART II]

HERE IS THE VIDEO FROM THE 5TH MAY CONCERT IN AMSTERDAM.

PERFORMING FOR THE QUEEN

Saturday - the 5th of May - it is liberation day in the Netherlands. And we celebrate it with a concert at the Amstel, in Amsterdam in the presence of our queen Beatrix. Trippin Angels / Fontys Dance Academy Tilburg was honored to perform at the Liberation Concert. Concept and choreography: Marc van Loon and Jean-Louis Barning, costumes: Wobine Bosch. And it was live on the Dutch television (you can check it out here)

It was amazing to be a part in all of this. It's a major event in the Netherlands. I can't describe the feeling I got after the performance, it felt a bit like I was on top of the world (and that's a understatement) even a couple of days later I was still in a daze. It was a wonderful experience, and nobody is going to take that away from me. Thanks to all the people who have made all this possible! Here some 'backstage' pictures.

VIDEO SHOOT: TAO HYPAH

Couple of weeks ago my friend asked me if me and my classmates would like to dance in a video clip. Why not? So last week Tao Hypah shot a video clip for his first official single "Play the girl". The video was directed by Justin van der Lek, known for his special effects work on "Transformers", "the A-team", "G.I. Joe", "the Avengers" and many more. With 4 sets, 2 locations, Tao's own dance troupe Hypagirls, a Hollywood player directing, and of course Tao himself. The video was fun to shoot and will definitely be fun to watch.
