Increasingly also summer and winter items mixed, what the differences between the fashion seasons almost blurs.
Popular fashion designer Alexander Wang, creative director at fashion house Balenciaga, showed besides some black garments a lot of shades in white and textures. Eyecatcher was the men's suits and jackets for women with raised collars. The autumn/winter collection for 2012-2013 was characterized by further cut tight pants, leather skirts, asymmetrical details, transparent fabrics and knee high boots.
Sarah Burton of fashion label Alexander McQueen had an almost futuristic but elegant collection. The clothing reflected the spirit of Marie Antoinette again, but in a future time zone. Cute short dresses with embroidery and lace were processed combined with lavish fur collars and stoles, silver waist belts, striking futuristic glasses and furry boots. "The future is usually displayed as grim and cold. I wanted lightness and feel that the dresses floated "says Burton about the collection.
The French fashion house Céline went for more sporty white with a raw edge. The collection consisted of large jackets, straight trousers and high-necked sweaters in white, pink, blue, black and brown. Here and there were striking details like zippers distinctive and sporty stripes.
I love the white theme! It's so dreamy and cute in a way. Not very handy when you're Alyssa, and get all kinds of stains on your white clothing. What do you think?
